Friday, June 15, 2018 at 5:00 PM Pacific
The next round of state funding for the Active Transportation Program (ATP) is almost upon us, and with a whole slew of significant changes to the program–including 5 different applications based on project size and scope–we know veterans and newbies to the program alike may have lots of questions or run into challenges as they prepare their applications.
But fear not! California Walks is able to offer free one-on-one assistance to help communities most in need participate and successfully compete in ATP Cycle 4. One-on-one assistance may consist of the following, depending on your community’s needs:
Feedback on Previously Submitted ATP Applications;
Consultation on Current ATP Proposal(s);
Navigating the ATP Application Process;
Limited Grant Writing Assistance; and
In-Person Stakeholder Engagement Workshop(s).
If you are interested in receiving one-on-one assistance with your ATP Cycle 4 application, you must submit a request for assistance via this form no later than June 15, 2018.
Eligibility to receive assistance from California Walks is limited to local or regional government agencies, community-based organizations, and advocacy groups.
Due to the expected high volumes of requests, we must limit our services to high-need areas of the state:
Central Valley
North State
North Coast
San Bernardino County
Additionally, applicants must be proposing projects that will benefit a disadvantaged community as defined by the ATP. Applicants must also be willing and able to commit staff time and availability to the project during the technical assistance period.
If you need assistance or have questions about this application, contact Esther Postiglione, esther@californiawalks.org.
