California Walks and Walk San Jose are proud to present PedsCount! 2018, October 18 and 19 at San Jose State University. The exciting and ambitious program includes a keynote presentation from Professor Charles Brown of America Walks and Rutgers University. Charles is a national leader on transportation equity planning, complete streets, and environmental justice. This year’s theme is “Past, Present and Future”. We’ll discuss the history of walkability and cities in California, The current state of our sustainable growth coalitions, and how technology is helping and challenging the work of building safer, healthier, more inclusive streets and communities.
