Erin Alexander is an experienced strategist and community advocate working at the intersection of environmental justice, cultural heritage, and inclusive design. With a professional background spanning the Bay Area and Washington, D.C., she has led initiatives focused on equitable land use, youth environmental education, and sustainable neighborhood development.

Erin is the founder of Funki Shui and the Orisha Network for Issues on Land and Environment (ONILE), where she integrates ecological planning with cultural and spiritual frameworks to support healthier, more connected communities. Her work includes facilitating community-led visioning processes, developing place-based curricula, and advancing policies that reflect the lived experiences of historically excluded populations.

As a board member of California Walks, Erin brings a systems-level perspective rooted in equity, cultural relevance, and a deep commitment to designing environments where all residents can thrive.
