Asha Chandy
Board Member
Asha Chandy is a public sector planning professional and nonprofit leader with nearly a decade of experience in the non-profit and public sectors advancing active transportation. She is also a board member of Bike Bakersfield, and she is committed to advancing inclusive, sustainable communities through policy, planning, and advocacy.
She currently is a Supervising Planner with Kern County Planning and Natural Resources, where she leads implementation of the County’s Housing Element. Asha holds a Master of Public Administration from California State University, Bakersfield and Bachelors degrees in Public Health Policy and Criminology, Law and Society from UC Irvine.
